The House Oversight Committee has released a batch of around 70 photos from the estate of late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. This is the third release from over 95,000 photos acquired by the committee, containing images such as quotes from 'Lolita' written across a woman's body and redacted passport images of women associated with Epstein.

These disclosures come just hours before the December 19 deadline for the Department of Justice to unveil all files related to its investigation of Epstein. These new images raise more questions about what exactly the Department of Justice has in its possession, remarked committee member Robert Garcia.

Among the newly released photos are images of Epstein conversing with notable figures such as Noam Chomsky and Bill Gates, along with previous disclosures showing former presidents and influential personalities, highlighting Epstein's extensive network. The committee emphasized the need for transparency, presenting a representative selection from the estate's vast number of documents. However, appearing in the photos does not imply wrongdoing, with many seen insisting on their non-involvement.

Accompanying the release were disturbing images, including text messages indicating trafficking intentions and women’s passports, with many identifying details being redacted. Further documentation suggests potential involvement or knowledge of Epstein's notorious activities among the individuals connected to him.

The committee's investigation into Epstein started after the estate was first subpoenaed in August. The material from Epstein’s estate is distinct from extensive documents held by the DOJ, which was mandated by a recently signed transparency act to release its files by the same deadline, although speculation exists around the level of redaction expected.
